Riding the Range and Other Photos

Riding the Range

Richard and sons "riding the range" in west Kansas. (They are also mowing the church yard).

Therapy

Medical treatment isn't always pleasant, for people or pets. Here my dog, Fudge, is confined to a cage for therapy for a damaged knee. Because of his age and general health surgery may not be the best option. Instead, the vet is hoping confinement for a week (with sometime out everyday) will allow some healing to occur. In the meantime, Fudge is not a happy patient.

Summer Youth Intern

Jenny left recently to begin her work as a youth ministry intern for the summer. We are proud of her!

Play Ball!

Kristin, a sophomore, has 3 JV and 2 varsity wins as a pitcher this year.

Love the family pics! It is always great to hear from another minister's family out there. You look like you have a great family! My husband and I did an internship in Tyro, KS many years ago. Don't know if you are close to Tyro or ever heard of it. Thanks for checking out my blog. I am new at all of this blog stuff, just trying to use it for the Lord. I will be praying for your daughter...we were in the youth ministry for 15 years...loved it!!
Blessings,
Stephanie

Things We Carried - it was my favorite, too, which was convenient b/c it made a great ending. I took about 6 pics and chose only these two to post.

Laurie - thank you. I am blessed with my family beyond anything I have done to deserve it. Thanks for the sympathy for Fudge. He has been a good companion for over 9 years now. He can't understand why he is confined!

SanDe - It is quite dry in southwest Kansas. Acutally, we have been blessed with quite a bit of moisture over the last 2 months, but we can always use more. I take it you are getting a lot of rain?

Thank you all for visiting and writing. WB
